Section 6.5: Link Hub and Installable Apps

Link Hub is an installable app in ABRAM. It gives you a single public page for everything you want people to find: your reel, your rates, your booking form, your socials. You share one address, and the page carries the rest.

The page is built mobile first, because most people open a link from a bio on a phone.

1. Installing an App

Owners, admins and members who manage the organization profile add apps from Settings > Integrations > Apps. Click Install, free on Link Hub to add it to your sidebar. Open it, choose your page address and click Create my page. Nothing is visible to the outside world until you click Publish. Remove takes the app out of the sidebar and keeps its data, so installing it again brings the page back.

2. Your Public Address

A published Link Hub page lives at its own address, in the form app.abram.network/l/your-name.

You choose the last part of the address:

  • Lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens only.
  • Between 3 and 40 characters.
  • It has to start and end with a letter or a number.

That address is what goes in a social bio, an email signature, or a QR code on a business card.

3. Building the Page

The page is a stack of blocks. Reorder them with the Move up and Move down arrows beside each block, and add one with the buttons above the list. Each block is one of the following types:

Block typeWhat it does
LinkA button pointing at any address you give it.
HeaderA text divider used to break a long page into sections.
EmailOpens a new email to the address you set.
PhoneStarts a call on a phone.
VideoShows the video's thumbnail with a play mark. Takes a YouTube or Vimeo address.
GroupShows related blocks as small tiles under one heading. Groups are one level deep.

Block Options

Every block carries a few settings of its own:

  • Label and Description: The text on the button, and on a Link block an optional line underneath it.
  • Icon: Pick from the icon list, or use the ABRAM mark.
  • Thumbnail: Upload an image for the block. You can crop it in place before saving.
  • Layout: Classic for a standard button row, or Featured for a larger, more prominent card.
  • Highlight: Draw attention to one block with a Pulse, Shine or Bounce motion. Leave it on None for a still button.
  • Visible on the page: Turn a block off without deleting it.
  • Starts and Ends: Give a block a start date, an end date, or both. It appears and disappears on its own, which suits a page that has to promote a screening or an open call for a fixed window.

Video Blocks

A video block shows the thumbnail and a play mark, and opens on the video provider's own site when tapped. Playback happens on the provider's side, which keeps the page fast for whoever opened it on a phone.

4. Styling the Page

Link Hub ships with themes you can start from, then adjust as far as you like.

Themes

Seven presets set the background, buttons, accent and typeface in one click: Midnight, Carbon, Paper, Studio, Daylight, Reel and Signal. Picking one is a starting point, and every value inside it stays editable. A separate row of background presets sets only the backdrop.

Background

Choose a background style:

  • Solid: One flat color.
  • Gradient: A blend between two colors.
  • Glow: A soft radial wash behind the content.
  • Photo: Your own uploaded picture, with Blur and Darken sliders so text stays readable over it.

Buttons

Buttons are set independently of the background:

  • Style: Glass, Fill, Outline, Soft shadow or Hard shadow.
  • Corners: Sharp, Rounded or Pill.
  • Size: Compact, Regular or Large.
  • Shadow: None, Soft or Hard.
  • Button colour and Button text: The button color and the text color on it are each set on their own.

Layout and Type

  • Layout: Show your links as a vertical List or as a Grid of tiles.
  • Font: Pick the page typeface from the font list, which spans clean sans faces, serifs and a condensed display face.
  • Photo: Show an uploaded picture at the top of the page, or no picture at all. The photo can be a Circle, Rounded or Square.
  • Heading, Subheading and Footer Note: The text at the top of the page and the small line at the bottom.
  • Socials: A row of platform icons under your bio. Add up to 12.

5. Search Preview and Sharing

Link Hub controls how the page looks when somebody pastes it into a message or a post:

  • Search title and Search description (under Advanced): What a search engine and a chat app show for the page.
  • Share image (under Advanced): The picture that appears in a link preview card.
  • Share button (under Socials): Turn the built-in share control on or off for visitors.

6. Publishing and Traffic

Nothing on the page is public until you click Publish. A live page shows View live, and Unpublish is in the menu beside it. Once it is live:

  • Each block records how many times it has been clicked. Open a block in the editor to see its count.
  • The page records how many times it has been viewed, and shows the count at the top of the editor.

Those counts tell you which link is actually doing the work, which is useful when you are deciding what belongs at the top.

7. Plan Availability

  • Free includes publishing a page with Link, Header, Email and Phone blocks, and the click and view counts.
  • Customisation is available from Pro and above: Video and Group blocks, thumbnails, highlights, the Featured layout, Starts and Ends dates, and everything under Design.
  • Pro is also where the ABRAM credit comes off the page footer. Under Branding, switch on Hide "Powered by ABRAM". Free pages keep the credit.

For a full comparison of what each plan includes, see Section 5.3.

8. Step-by-Step: Publishing Your First Page

  1. Install Link Hub from Settings > Integrations > Apps.
  2. Open Link Hub, choose your page address and heading, and click Create my page. Then fill in the subheading.
  3. Under Design, pick a theme in Background, then adjust the buttons and font.
  4. Add your blocks. Start with the two or three things you most want people to reach.
  5. Upload thumbnails and crop them.
  6. Under Advanced, set the search title, search description and share image so the link previews well.
  7. Check the preview beside the editor, then click Publish.
  8. Put the address in your bio, and check the click counts after a week to see which blocks earn their position.

Page Address

Published pages resolve at app.abram.network/l/<slug>. Slug constraints: lowercase alphanumeric and hyphen, length 3 to 40, first and last characters alphanumeric. An address that does not match returns Not Found.

Block Types

Link, Header, Email, Phone, Video, Group. Video and Group are on Pro and above. Groups nest exactly one level; a block inside a group cannot itself contain blocks. Social icons are set in the Socials row under Design, up to 12.

Rendering Behavior

Video blocks render a thumbnail and a play affordance and navigate to the provider's own site on activation. No third-party player is embedded in the page.

Branding

The footer credit is resolved per page read from the organization's current plan. It defaults to shown. Both removal of the credit and customisation of appearance require Pro or above.

Traffic Counters

Per-block click count, plus a page-level view count. These are display counters on the owner's editor and are not exposed on the public page.
