Common questions

Do crew and clients need a seat?

No. A seat is somebody who works at your company. Everyone you hire onto a production joins it without one. So does a client opening their portal. Seats run 1 on Free, 5 on Pro, 20 on Studio. Past twenty, the count is settled in a contract.

How many productions does the free plan cover?

One, counted across everything you have ever made. Archiving leaves the slot taken. Deleting gives it back. Moving up a plan lifts the cap.

Can I change plans whenever I want?

Yes. An upgrade applies the same day, with prorated credit for the time left on the plan you were on. A downgrade runs to the end of the billing month, so a part month is never charged.

What are AI credits?

Credits run the AI work: parsing a brief, breaking down a script, searching talent in plain language, talking to ABRAM. What one action costs comes from the work it did, so it varies. Free carries 80 to start. A paid plan carries a monthly allowance for every seat, and the allowance does not roll over. Top-up packs are 150 for $10, 500 for $25, 1,200 for $50. They never expire, and they are drawn only after the monthly allowance is spent.

What happens when I hit a limit?

You keep everything you have made. Nothing is deleted and nothing is locked away. You add no more of that one thing until the next cycle. Moving up a plan lifts the cap the same day.

Is there a discount for paying yearly?

Yes. Paid up front, a year works out at $17 a month on Pro for every seat, $50 a month on Studio for every seat. The toggle above the plans switches between the two.

What is the processing fee?

It is charged on payments that move between people through ABRAM, and worked out on the payee's plan. Only the volume above a monthly allowance is charged. The ladder runs Free: 3% of everything; Pro: 1% above the first $10k a month; Studio: 0.5% above the first $100k a month; SMB / Enterprise: 0.25%, or negotiated. Payees are the merchant of record on their own Stripe account, so Stripe's card fees are paid by them and refunds are handled from their own dashboard.

What is SMB / Enterprise?

The plan for a network. It starts at 21 seats and has no ceiling above that. It adds single sign-on, audit log export, gear checkout with barcode scanning, API and MCP access, a bring-your-own storage bucket, and builds scoped in the contract. There is no list price. Tell us the shape of the company and we will quote it.

Start free. Move up when you outgrow it.

No card. No call. Unless you want one.

ABRAM plans, seats, limits and feature gating

ABRAM sells four plans: Free, Pro, Studio, SMB / Enterprise. Free, Pro and Studio are bought from the pricing page and none of them has a seat minimum, so one person can buy any of them. SMB / Enterprise starts at 21 seats and is uncapped above that, its price is custom and agreed in a conversation, and its AI credits and workspace storage are custom too. It adds Gear checkout, Barcode scanning, Single sign-on and SAML, Audit log export, The AI kill switch, API and MCP access, Bring your own storage bucket, A named account manager and an SLA, Security review, MSA and PO invoicing, Built for you. Seats are for your own team. External crew, cast and vendors do not take a seat.

3. Payments and payouts

  • Processing fee:charged on payments that move between people through ABRAM, worked out on the payee's plan, and applied only to the volume above a monthly allowance that is never charged. The ladder is marginal. Free: 3% of everything. Pro: 1% above the first $10k a month. Studio: 0.5% above the first $100k a month. SMB / Enterprise: 0.25%, or negotiated. This is separate from Stripe's own card processing fees.
  • Payouts:payees connect their own Stripe account and are the merchant of record on it. An invoice cannot be paid until the payee has completed Stripe onboarding and their account is enabled for charges. Refunds and disputes are handled from the payee's own Stripe dashboard, and the ABRAM processing fee is non-refundable once a payment completes.
  • Purchase order holds: a 7-day pre-authorization can be placed on a client card and captured once the work package deliverables are approved.
  • AI credit top-ups: organization owners and admins buy one-time packs from Settings, Billing: 150 credits for $10, 500 credits for $25, 1,200 credits for $50. Purchased credits never expire and are drawn after the monthly allowance and any trial credits.

4. Seats, caps and credit scaling

  • Seats are for your own team. External crew, cast and vendors do not take a seat.
  • No seat minimum: Pro is sold from one seat and stops at 5, so one person pays $20 a month for it and a full 5 seats is $100 a month, and Studio is sold from one seat and stops at 20, so one person pays $60 a month for it and a full 20 seats is $1,200 a month. Past twenty seats the plan is SMB / Enterprise, which is uncapped and agreed in a conversation.
  • The free production cap is a total: a free account can hold one production, counted across everything it has ever made. Archiving a production does not free the slot and deleting it does.
  • Credit scaling: on a per-seat plan the monthly AI credit allowance multiplies by the seat count. Pro is 300 credits a month for one seat and 1,500 at its 5 seat ceiling, and Studio is 1,500 credits a month for one seat and 30,000 at its 20 seat ceiling. Workspace storage is a fixed pool per plan and does not scale with seats.
  • Workspace promotion: upgrading a single-seat workspace to a plan with more seats converts the personal workspace into an organization, asking for a company name and a team size on the way through.
