Two shows want Studio B on Thursday.
Studios, control rooms and crews share one schedule in ABRAM. So Thursday’s clash shows up on Monday.

Questions worth asking.
Can ABRAM book studios and control rooms?
Yes. Studios, control rooms, edit suites, cameras and kits are all resources in ABRAM, grouped into folders and booked on one calendar. A room that is already confirmed can't be confirmed twice, and a hold that overlaps it shows up as a conflict. Resources start on Pro.
Does ABRAM have a rundown for live shows?
Yes. The run of show times every item to the second, with item numbers, front and back time against the hard out, blocks and cues for each department. Run show counts down the item on air, and the presenter, stage manager, clock and each department get their own screen. It is on every plan, Free included.
Can our graphics system or Stream Deck read the rundown?
Yes. A data feed link serves the live rundown as JSON, flat JSON, XML or CSV for vMix data sources and other graphics systems, and the ABRAM module for Bitfocus Companion 5.0 or later runs Go live, Next, Pause, Resume and End show from a Stream Deck. Both are on every plan.
Do freelancers and daily hires need a seat?
No. Seats are for your own staff. Freelancers and daily hires join a show's crew from an invite, accept it, and are booked without taking a seat.
Can sponsors approve spots without an account?
Yes. The sponsor opens a private link to a portal with your logo and enters a name and email. They play the spot from its Vimeo link, leave notes at the timecode, then press Approve & sign off or Request changes. Portals start on Pro.
Does ABRAM replace our newsroom system or playout?
No. ABRAM doesn't script stories, run playout, drive prompters, render on-air graphics or schedule ad traffic. Keep those, and run the rooms, crews, gear, rundowns and sign-offs around them in ABRAM.
What does ABRAM cost for a broadcast team?
Pro is $20 a seat a month and adds resources, the crew calendar and client portals. Studio is $60 a seat a month for up to twenty people, with capacity forecasts and conflict checks across every production. Past twenty seats, SMB / Enterprise adds single sign-on, audit logs and custom builds. Talk to us.
Put next week on one screen.
Start freeABRAM Broadcasting
ABRAM is the Creative Intelligence platform. It's where filmmakers, agencies and creators plan and run their productions. ABRAM Broadcasting books studios, control rooms and kits, schedules staff across shows, runs the rundown for live shows, and takes spots and promos through client sign-off. It is for local TV stations, sports media teams, in-house corporate studios and producers of live events and streams. Broadcast teams use it to run the production side of going live: local TV stations and their creative services departments, sports media teams at pro clubs and colleges, in-house corporate studios that produce town halls and executive updates, and producers of live events and streams.
Rooms and equipment
Resources hold an organization’s equipment (camera, lighting, audio, grip, electrical), vehicles, studios and locations, so control rooms, edit suites and field kits are tracked the same way. Items are grouped into folders on the resource calendar, which has a month view and a week view, colours bookings by project and counts conflicts. Rooms and equipment are booked by the day. A confirmed booking cannot take an item past the quantity owned; a hold (a requested booking) may overlap and is shown as a conflict. Items can be grouped into kits that book as one, and each job gets one pack list ticked Packed on the way out and Returned on the way back. Resources start on Pro, which tracks up to 80 items; Studio and above have no item cap.
Run of show
The run of show times every item to the second. Each item has a number (A1, A2), a front time, an estimated length in minutes and seconds, the actual time on air and a back time against the day’s hard out, with the day’s over or under in the toolbar. Blocks group items with running totals, and a floated item stays in the rundown without taking time. Cue columns for camera, audio, graphics, replay and talent each have a colour, and a single cue can carry its own. Run show starts the run bar: a countdown for the item on air, what’s next, Pause and Resume, Next on the space bar, End show and a message to talent. ABRAM records what aired and when. It can be printed, opened in a phone’s browser, and drafted by ABRAM from a list of segments. It is included on every plan, Free included, and appears by default on projects whose industry is Broadcast / TV / Streaming or Event Coverage.
Screens, data feed and Companion
Pop out opens read-only screens: a presenter view with a giant countdown, the item on air, what’s next and the producer’s message; a stage manager view with talent, notes and every cue; a clock with time of day and item and hard-out countdowns; and a view for each department with only its cues. Each screen is a link that opens on a second display, a phone, or as an OBS or vMix browser source with a transparent background, and every screen runs on the same server clock. Share links open one screen for people without an ABRAM account and expire after the show by default. A data feed link serves the live rundown as JSON, flat JSON, XML or CSV for graphics systems such as vMix data sources. The ABRAM module for Bitfocus Companion 5.0 or later runs Go live, Next, Previous, Pause, Resume, End show and the message to talent from a Stream Deck, with variables and feedbacks for each department’s current and next cue. Only people who manage a project can make a Companion link.
Crew
The crew calendar in Team management shows each person’s week as a row, with all-day show bookings, timed calls and time off, and marks a person who is overbooked or double-booked. Crew are invited to a production and accept or decline, with an access level of Can manage, Can edit or Crew view. Seats are for an organization’s own staff; freelancers, daily hires and other outside crew join a production without taking a seat, up to 10 outside crew per production on Pro and 100 on Studio. The crew calendar and workload grid are on Pro and above. Capacity forecasts and conflict detection across productions are on Studio and above.
Spots, promos and sponsor content
A spot or promo is a deliverable that moves through Not started, In progress, In review, Approved and Completed. The sponsor or client opens a private link to a portal with the team’s logo, enters a name and email with no account or password, plays the cut from its Vimeo link, leaves notes pinned to the timecode, and presses Approve & sign off or Request changes. Video is never uploaded to ABRAM. Client portals start on Pro.
What ABRAM does not do
ABRAM is not a newsroom computer system, a playout or master control automation system, a channel scheduler, a prompter, an on-air graphics engine (its data feed hands the rundown to one), a media asset manager, or an ad sales, traffic and billing system. It does not book signal paths or feeds, and it does not apply union turnaround or payroll rules. Teams keep those systems and run the rooms, crews, gear, rundowns and sign-offs around them in ABRAM. Studio covers up to 20 seats; Past twenty seats, SMB / Enterprise adds single sign-on, audit logs and custom builds. Talk to us. Every price and plan limit is published at https://abram.network/pricing.
