What is the Organization Brain?
It is the memory your workspace builds as your team works. It learns from the projects, crew, rates and estimates already moving through it, so it gets more useful while nobody is teaching it anything.
Can ABRAM change things in my workspace on its own?
No. Every step it wants to run waits in a pending plan that names the thing it will touch, and the run starts when you approve it.
Will ABRAM send an invoice or pay somebody?
It drafts an invoice, a quote or a payout and stops there. Money leaving your studio is a person's decision.
What can I ask it?

Two Memory Scopes
- ABRAM Memory (personal): a per-user record of preferences, contacts, patterns, milestones, summaries, notes, roles, resources, and templates. Every entry is tagged with its origin: stated by the user, inferred from activity, or extracted from an uploaded document. It is private to that user, who can review, edit, or delete any entry. Found under Settings, ABRAM Memory.
- Organization Brain (shared): the workspace knowledge base, fed by documents an admin uploads under the categories Brand Guidelines, Onboarding Sheets, Location Guides, Equipment Lists, Vendor Contacts, and Other. Candidate facts enter an Approve/Dismiss review queue that an admin clears before they become shared knowledge. Freelancers and external collaborators have no access to it. Neither scope requires manual setup or training. Both accumulate as the team uses the platform.
Data Scope and Protection
- Workspace data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
- Access inside a workspace is limited to the records a person's roles and projects cover. Client projects, availability calendars, and organizational financials are not open to the whole roster by default.
- The record built from a workspace's projects is scoped to that organization. It is not pooled with another studio's, and ABRAM does not sell personal data.
- Data held in the Organization Brain is never used to train ABRAM's shared AI models, regardless of the workspace's AI training consent setting. Training on any other data requires separate, explicit, optional consent, and platform access is not conditioned on giving it.
How the Memory Compounds
Estimates begin from standard rates and state on the card that they have no history behind them. Each closed project contributes actuals against labour, gear, and post, narrowing the quoted range. A project's money screen carries estimated, actual, forecast, and variance on every topsheet line, and that is the record later estimates are argued from. Approved timecards give real task durations against what a job was scoped at. The wrap report filed at project close weights skill records by how the work turned out, which is what makes the next crew-matching pass rank against a longer record. Per skill, a person's Competency view shows the hours logged and a strength of Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, or Expert, derived from completed work and visible only to the person it describes.
Creative Copilot Rules & Constraints
The conversational copilot assists with scheduling and team coordination.
- Roster Search & Fallbacks: Searches the internal roster by role, skill, availability, and location. If no match is found, the system relaxes filters, dropping location to reach remote-capable members and then widening accepted roles, and explains the adjustments ABRAM made.
- Interactive Action Plans: The copilot cannot modify database records, send emails, or lock schedules directly. ABRAM compiles a visual Action Plan card, which stays pending until the user clicks Approve.
- External Invitations: Inviting non-network talent requires email, first name, and last name. Invitations are capped at 10 per user per day.
Three-Pool Credit System
Credits are deducted for AI operations (parsing briefs, matches, resume imports, image generation) in a strict order:
- Monthly Allowance: Credits included in the subscription plan. Unused credits reset monthly and do not roll over.
- Trial Credits: Issued during onboarding, valid until the trial expires.
- Purchased Balance: Top-up credits bought through Stripe. These never expire.
Deduction is based on the complexity of the request and the amount of data processed, so the cost of a given action varies. Repeating a query inside a session can reuse the recent result, and a request that does not complete is not charged. Resume parsing during registration and onboarding is free.
