Bring your Asana, Monday and Jira projects across.
ABRAM imports projects from Asana, Monday, Jira or a CSV file on every plan. The importers are new. What arrives is a production plan with milestones, deliverables and checklists, ready for crew, a schedule, a budget and a client.

Groups become milestones
The level that groups the work in the source tool arrives as a milestone on the project.
Work items become deliverables
Each item lands as a deliverable, with its status mapped onto ABRAM's five states after you confirm the map.
Child items become checklists
Sub-items arrive as the checklist on the deliverable they belong to.
Your people,matched.
ABRAM matches the people on the imported projects to the people already in your team and shows you every match to check. Matched and unmatched people can come across as draft crew, and nobody is contacted until you send invites.
Drafts until you send
Every person the import adds is a draft on the crew. Invites go out when you press send on the Team tab.
Access set per person
Once they are on the crew, each person gets Can manage, Can edit or Crew view.

The productionaround the plan.
Once a project is in ABRAM, its deliverables sit beside the crew, the schedule, the budget and the client. Each deliverable carries its versions, its discussion, the people on it and their hours.

Shoot days and call sheets
A stripboard, shoot days and call sheets live on the same project as the deliverables.
Budget, quotes and invoices
The budget, the quote the client accepts and the invoice they pay all sit on the project.
A portal for the client
From Pro, clients review Vimeo links at the timecode in a branded portal and approve the work.
Pick by the work. A production needs the crew, the days and the money on the same project as the plan.
Keep the tool you have if:
- The work is tasks and tickets with no shoot days, crew or budget attached.
- Your whole company plans in it and production is a small part of that.
- Nobody outside the team needs to review or approve the work.
Move the production to ABRAM if:
- Projects have shoot days, crew calls and gear attached to them.
- The budget and the invoice live in a spreadsheet beside the plan.
- Clients review cuts and approve deliverables.
- You want the plan you have now as the starting point.
Moving the projects across.
Start with one live project, run it in ABRAM for a week, then bring the rest.
- 01
Connect the tool once
An owner or admin connects Asana, Monday or Jira in Settings, under Integrations and Connectors. A CSV file needs no connection.
- 02
Pick the projects
Choose a client for each project, confirm how the statuses map, and check the people ABRAM matched. Nothing is imported until you confirm.
- 03
Refresh while you switch
Keep working in the old tool for a while. Refresh brings the changes across into the same project and never deletes anything.
Questionsworth asking.
What the importers bring across, who connects them, and what happens to the people on your projects.
Can ABRAM import projects from Asana, Monday or Jira?
Yes, on every plan. The importers are new. An owner or admin connects each tool once for the company, in Settings under Integrations, Connectors, and then picks the projects to bring across. A CSV file works too, with no connection at all.
What comes across in the import?
The grouping level in the source becomes a milestone, each work item becomes a deliverable, and child items become checklist items. You confirm how the source statuses map onto ABRAM's five deliverable states and choose a client for each project, or mark it in-house. Nothing is imported until you confirm.
What happens to the people on those projects?
ABRAM matches them to the people already in your team and shows you the matches to check. You can add matched and unmatched people as draft crew. Nobody is contacted until you send invites from the Team tab.
Can I keep working in the old tool for a while?
Yes. A project that came from Jira, Asana or Monday has Refresh in its project actions, named for the tool. Refresh reads the source again, updates what changed, skips what did not and never deletes anything in ABRAM. Items gone from the source are counted so you can decide what to do with them.
What if an import goes wrong?
Undo archives the imported projects. Nothing is deleted, so an archived project can be looked at before you import again.
Bring the next project across.

ABRAM is a production operations platform for film and video production companies, creative studios and agencies. What the importers bring across
The source's grouping level becomes a milestone, each work item becomes a deliverable, and each child item becomes a checklist item. Statuses are mapped onto ABRAM's five deliverable states (Not started, In progress, In review, Approved, Completed) with a confirm step, and each imported project needs a client or is marked in-house. People on the source projects are matched to the organization's team, and matched or unmatched people can be added as draft crew. Nobody is contacted until invites are sent.
Connecting a tool
An organization owner or admin connects Asana, Monday or Jira once, in Settings, Integrations, Connectors. CSV import needs no connection. Imported projects from a connected tool carry a Refresh action that re-reads the source, updates changed items in place, skips unchanged ones and never deletes. Undo archives an import without deleting it.
What ABRAM adds after the import
Once a project is in ABRAM, the deliverables sit beside the crew with their access levels, the stripboard and call sheets, the budget, quotes and invoices, and, from the Pro plan, a branded client portal where clients review Vimeo links at the timecode and approve the work.
