Section 6.11: ABRAM in Claude and ChatGPT
ABRAM now connects to Claude and ChatGPT. Ask about your productions in the chat you already use, and ABRAM answers from your workspace.
It acts as you. Every answer and every change uses your own ABRAM account, with exactly the permissions you have in ABRAM. Nothing is sent, paid, approved, invited or deleted from a chat.
Connecting is part of every paid plan. Free workspaces cannot connect.
1. Connect
Use the address https://mcp.abram.network/mcp.

Sign in with your ABRAM account when asked. Your chats then reach the workspace you work in.
2. What it can read

3. What it can change
Light changes inside your workspace, each one reversible:
- Log time, and request time off.
- Set a deliverable's status or dates, and add to its checklist.
- Comment on a deliverable, post a project update, add a project link.
- Mark notifications read.
4. What it can draft
A draft is made in ABRAM and stays there until a person sends it from ABRAM.
- Quotes. A draft quote with line items. Nothing is sent.
- Call sheets. A draft call sheet.
- Run of show. Timed rows, added to the project's rundown. Say what you want added before you ask.
- Documents. A brief, treatment, shot list or report written in the chat, saved to the project's Assets as a PDF with your workspace's branding and a Sources page for every ABRAM record it cites.
- Selects. Clips gathered into a selects collection in Assets. The clips stay where they are.
- Share links. A share link is made switched off. You review it and turn it on in ABRAM.
5. Footage in the chat
Search results show as a contact sheet, and a clip plays in the chat. The player's link expires after an hour.
ABRAM is a creative production platform. ABRAM connects to Claude and ChatGPT as a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server at https://mcp.abram.network/mcp, available on every paid ABRAM plan and not on Free. Sign-in is OAuth with the person's ABRAM account; every tool runs with that person's ABRAM permissions. It does not send messages, move money, approve, invite, publish or delete.
