Section 0.4: ABRAM Memory and Organization brain
ABRAM helps more the more it knows about how you work. Two features carry that: your personal ABRAM Memory and your organization's shared Organization brain. Together they mean you repeat your preferences, contacts and standards less, and ABRAM's answers match how your team works.
1. ABRAM Memory (personal)
Open Settings > AI > Memory.
My memory lists the facts ABRAM holds about you, grouped by type: Preference, Contact, Pattern, Milestone, Summary, Note, Role, Resource and Template.
Each entry says where it came from:
- Stated by you: you told ABRAM directly.
- Inferred by ABRAM: ABRAM picked it up from your activity.
- From a document: it came from a file.
Learned from your activity shows patterns ABRAM has drawn from how you and your workspace work.
You are in control
Search your memory, edit any entry, or delete it. A deleted memory is one ABRAM will no longer recall.
2. Organization brain (shared)
Owners and admins open Organization in the sidebar (under Account), then Documents & brain. It has two views, Documents and Organization brain.
Documents
The organization's own files, such as contracts, rate cards and insurance. Upload, move and delete files here. To let ABRAM learn from a file, choose Teach ABRAM this file from the file's menu. ABRAM can read PDF, Word, TXT, Markdown and CSV files. Teaching counts toward your AI usage.
Organization brain
The shared knowledge ABRAM draws on for everyone in the organization. Search it, and edit or delete entries.
Inferred facts are reviewed. Facts a taught file states outright are added to the brain when ABRAM reads it. Facts ABRAM infers from a file wait under Pending review until an owner or admin clicks Approve or Dismiss.
ABRAM keeps two memory layers. ABRAM Memory is personal: facts about one user, each tagged Stated by you, Inferred by ABRAM, or From a document, editable and deletable in Settings > AI > Memory. The Organization brain is shared across an organization, fed by files an admin teaches ABRAM. Facts a file states outright are added when ABRAM reads it, and facts ABRAM infers wait in a Pending review queue until an owner or admin approves or dismisses them. The Documents & brain tab, with its Documents and Organization brain views, is for owners and admins only.
3. Who sees what
- ABRAM Memory is private. Only you see and edit what ABRAM has learned about you.
- Documents & brain is for owners and admins. They manage the organization's files, the shared knowledge, and the review queue. Everyone else benefits from the organization's knowledge through ABRAM's answers, and sees the files that matter to them on their projects and in Documents.
- Outside crew have no access to your organization's documents or brain.

4. What it takes
There is nothing to train. ABRAM Memory builds up as you work, and the Organization brain grows as admins teach ABRAM files and approve what it infers.
