Section 0.4: ABRAM Memory & Organization Brain

Abram gets better at helping you the more it learns about how you work. That happens through two connected features: your personal ABRAM Memory and your organization's shared Organization Brain. Together, they mean you spend less time repeating the same preferences, contacts, and standards every time you start a new project — and the AI output you get back is more consistent with how your team actually works.

1. ABRAM Memory (Personal)

ABRAM Memory is found under Settings → ABRAM Memory. It's a searchable list of facts the Abram assistant has picked up about you specifically, over time.

How memories are organized

Each entry is grouped by type, such as:

• Preference — things you like done a certain way.
• Contact — people you reference often.
• Pattern — habits Abram has noticed in how you work.
• Milestone — significant events tied to your projects.
• Summary — condensed context from earlier conversations or work.
• Note — anything you or Abram flagged for later.
• Role, Resource, and Template — recurring positions, materials, or formats you use.

Every entry is also tagged with where it came from, so you always know why Abram believes something about you:

• You Stated — you told Abram directly.
• Inferred — Abram picked up on a pattern from your activity.
• Document — pulled from a file you uploaded.

You're always in control

You can review, edit, or delete any memory entry at any time. If something is outdated or just wrong, correcting it in ABRAM Memory updates how Abram treats that information going forward.

Because ABRAM Memory is personal to your account, it stays with you and makes Abram's help feel tailored the longer you use it — no need to re-explain your preferences on every new project.

2. Organization Brain (Shared)

While ABRAM Memory is about you, the Organization Brain is your whole organization's shared knowledge base. You'll find it inside Organization → Documents.

Fed by your organization's documents

Admins can upload reference materials that Abram learns from, organized by category:

• Brand Guidelines
• Onboarding Sheets
• Location Guides
• Equipment Lists
• Vendor Contacts
• Other

Once uploaded, Abram draws on these documents to answer questions and help pre-fill work using your organization's real standards — instead of generic defaults.

Reviewed before it's shared

Organization-level knowledge isn't added automatically the moment it's noticed. New candidate facts first land in an Approve/Reject queue that an admin clears, so only information your organization has actually vetted becomes part of the shared Organization Brain. This keeps the knowledge base accurate and prevents bad or stale information from spreading across the team.

3. Who Sees What

• ABRAM Memory is private. Only you can see and edit the facts Abram has learned about you.
• Organization Brain is shared. It's available across your organization, governed by your organization roles and the admin review queue described above.

Broadly, owners and admins have the most visibility — including managing the Approve/Reject queue — while other roles can draw on shared, approved knowledge as it applies to their work. Freelancers and external collaborators don't have access to your organization's internal knowledge base.

4. The Practical Benefit

Neither ABRAM Memory nor the Organization Brain requires manual setup or training. They build up passively as you and your team use the platform — and as admins upload reference documents. The payoff is straightforward: less repeating yourself, and AI output from Abram that's more consistent with how your organization actually operates.
