ABRAM's Resource Management covers production gear, camera packages, lighting kits, studio spaces, stages and vehicles across three views: Inventory, Kits and Calendar. Assets carry a name, category, storage location, day and hourly rate, serial number, barcode, purchase date and price, a point of contact, organization-defined custom fields and a quantity, and each receives an auto-generated asset ID and a utilisation percentage showing how often it is booked relative to its availability.
Categories include Equipment, Camera, Lighting, Audio, Grip, Electrical, Vehicle, Wardrobe, Props, Set Dec, Special FX, Location, Studio and Expendable. A global catalog search suggests equipment names as you type, and large studios and rental houses can bulk import inventory from a CSV, TSV or pasted spreadsheet data, then bulk edit status, condition, location and rates across many assets at once.
Kits bundle related items into predefined packages so a twenty-item camera build is booked in one action, with a combined package rate that can be overridden. Booking a kit creates allocations for every constituent asset on those dates. An AI kit builder can suggest package compositions.
The resource calendar is a draggable timeline with daily, weekly and monthly views, folder organization and filters by category, location and folder. Dragging across date blocks creates a booking hold linked to a work order, and dragging an existing booking shifts the entire work order date range. Allocating a location or studio resource synchronizes its address onto the linked work order.
Double booking is a hard constraint: attempting to reserve or check out an asset already allocated beyond the owned quantity blocks the save outright rather than warning after the fact. Overallocation also generates soft capacity conflict records that surface on the project dashboard and calendar timeline. Barcode scanning and batch allocation require a Team plan or higher.
